This is a practical operating draft, not legal advice. Add the studio’s final legal entity, address, jurisdiction and contact details before accepting paid projects.
Cancellation before work begins
If you cancel before development starts, tell us promptly. Any refund will take account of whether payment has settled, non-refundable processor or third-party charges, and any separately agreed discovery or reservation work already completed. A submitted request or unaccepted quote does not create a payment obligation.
After work begins
Custom development is made for a specific customer and often cannot be resold. Payments are generally non-refundable once work has started or the completed digital product or service has been delivered. Any review will consider completed milestones, time already spent, delivered materials, approved expenses, remaining work and the written project agreement.
When a refund may be considered
- ZCODING is unable to deliver or fails to provide the agreed service.
- A serious, material mismatch with the agreed scope cannot reasonably be corrected.
- A duplicate charge or incorrect payment was collected.
- A refund is required by applicable law or binding payment-provider rules.
When a refund is generally not provided
- You change your mind, no longer need the project or choose another developer after work starts.
- The delivered result materially matches the agreed requirements.
- Required information or access was not provided.
- You later request features outside the accepted scope.
Problems with delivered work
If the work materially differs from the agreed scope, give us a clear description and a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct it. We may offer a fix, replacement work, partial refund or other appropriate remedy depending on the issue, the project agreement and applicable law.
Change of mind and scope changes
Requests outside the agreed scope, delays caused by missing customer input, or a later change of mind are not automatically defects. We will explain any effect on price, timing and refund eligibility before proceeding with additional work.
Third-party costs
Domain registrations, licences, subscriptions, platform fees and other third-party purchases may be non-refundable once ordered. We will identify known third-party costs before purchase where reasonably possible.
How to request a review
Contact us through the contact page with your case number, the amount in question and a concise explanation. Do not send payment-card details. Approved refunds are returned through an appropriate method and may take additional time to appear depending on the payment provider.
Consumer-law rights
This policy does not replace or limit mandatory consumer rights. If applicable law gives you a stronger remedy, that law prevails. The final policy and each paid project agreement must be reviewed by the studio owner for the customer’s location and the studio’s registered legal details.
Prepared with reference to official UAE government guidance on personal-data and consumer protection. Final obligations depend on the studio’s registration, customers and services.
